Apple Health, the company’s health app, could come with a “coach” in a future update, according to a report from Bloomberg.

The tech giant is reportedly preparing to release a new version of the app, according to the Power On column. Among the new features, the app would include an AI-powered “coach” to provide health tips to users.

Journalist Mark Gurman stated that the update is expected to roll out starting in the second half of 2026, alongside the launch of iOS 19.4.

The app would use health data such as step count, heart rate, mental health assessments, and hearing tests (available for AirPods Pro users) to provide personalized tips.

Gurman also explained that the basis of its functionality would be Apple Intelligence, Apple’s artificial intelligence, to offer a personal assistant to users. According to him, the company has already started consulting health experts to develop the coach.

It is important to note that, while Gurman is known to be a reliable source on the subject, the information has not yet been confirmed by Apple, so it should be taken as a rumor for now.
